Our animation series concludes on June 29 with an interview with Simpsons animator Matt Herbert and a screening of animated shorts produced during this workshop series. Registration is recommended.

The 2024 Carmel Film Forum: Summer of Animation is a five-day animation workshop, contest, and screening led by professional filmmakers and animators from Indiana. Participants will learn how to create a short animation during the workshop and will have the opportunity to submit their films for an animation contest and screening. The contest will feature two categories, one for adults and one for Hamilton County youths (ages 12–17). The contest winners will receive an iPad, and their films will be showcased at the next Indy Film Fest.

The animator with the best film in each category will receive a computer tablet donated by the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation.
