Want to help create activities and displays for school-age kids to enjoy at CCPL? Join the Youth Library Council! Click this event title for important information and a link to the application.

Do you love talking about and sharing your favorite books and movies with people? Do you enjoy attending library programs and wish you could help create your very own? Are you interested in helping make the library extra fun for you, your friends, and other elementary school kids? You can do all these things when you join the Youth Library Council!

The Youth Library Council is an advisory board of students who will be in 4th and 5th grade during the 2023–2024 school year. The council's members help the library develop resources, services, and events to fulfill the needs and interests of school-age patrons while also promoting the library to students and the community.

If you're entering 4th or 5th grade this fall, you're invited to fill out and return an application anytime during the month of May. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, May 31. Click here for complete details about the council and the application form. You will be notified about the results of your application before July 1.
