Bestselling author Laura Kamoie shares her new book "A Founding Mother." Registration is required for this free author event.

A Founding Mother: A Novel by Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie (also credited as Laura Kaye) is a historically accurate biographical novel about Abigail Adams, chronicling her life from her marriage to John Adams through the American Revolution and beyond, focusing on her significant, behind-the-scenes role in shaping the new nation. The book uses her extensive letters to portray her as a formidable, intelligent woman who advocated for women's rights and navigated political challenges, making it a deep dive for history lovers.

Book sales and signing will follow the conversation. Registration is required for this free author event. Presented by the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation.
