Alex Kor, the son of Holocaust survivors Mickey and Eva, grew up in Indiana amidst prejudice and hardship. His father escaped execution at Buchenwald, while his mother and her twin sister survived Auschwitz and Mengele's experiments. Alex faced antisemitism and a cancer diagnosis, yet he persevered, inspired by his parents' resilience. In A Blessing, Not a Burden, Alex, along with co-author Graham Honaker, shares his journey and life lessons, emphasizing the power of forgiveness and the enduring human spirit. The book serves as a poignant reminder of the horrors of hate and the strength to overcome them.
