Summer Reading Program

    Our Summer Reading Program has come to an end. Thank you to the nearly 5,000 people who participated. Your reading earned over 8,100 donations for the Choice Food Pantry!

    June 1–July 31, 2024

     For Kids Ages 0–5

    Earn prizes by reading and help support the Choice Food Pantry at Carmel’s Merciful HELP Center!

    Every time you read together, log the number of books on the Beanstack Tracker app or at carmel.beanstack.com. (You can use this print-at-home tracking sheet to help keep track of your reading. Remember to enter all your reading into Beanstack, too, before July 31 to be eligible for prizes.)

    Reading Prizes

    • 12 picture books/beginning readers = donation to Choice Food Pantry
    • 24 picture books/beginning readers = sticker
    • 36 picture books/beginning readers = donation to Choice Food Pantry
    • 48 picture books/beginning readers = choice of a free book
    • 60 picture books/beginning readers = donation to Choice Food Pantry
    • 72 picture books/beginning readers = choice of another free book + piece of our library castle to decorate
       
      Visit the West Branch or the Main Library Kids Area to collect your prizes through August 10.
