StoryWalk® at West Park: The Apple Pie Tree

Families can enjoy a nature walk and story by participating in our StoryWalk at West Park on West 116th Street.

Visit West Park (2700 W. 116th St.) from August 27–September 22, when CCPL will be partnering with Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation to present a StoryWalk featuring the book The Apple Pie Tree  by Zoe Hall with illustrations by Shari Halpern. Follow the signs from the restrooms to the prairie maze to read about the sights and sounds of nature as an apple tree grows through the seasons. Reward yourself with the apple pie recipe at the end of the book.
