StoryWalk® at Meadowlark Park: Thanking the Moon

Enjoy a nature walk and story—and learn about the Chinese Mooncake Festival!—by participating in our bilingual StoryWalk at Meadlowlark Park, accessible from both Meadow Lane and the Monon Trail.

Visit Meadowlark Park (450 Meadow Ln.) from August 19–September 11 when CCPL will be partnering with Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation and the Carmel-Xiangyang Sister City Committee to present a bilingual StoryWalk featuring the book Thanking the Moon by Grace Lin. Follow the signs from the playground area to read this book and learn about the Chinese Mooncake Festival, which will be celebrated in Carmel on September 10 at Midtown Plaza (365 Monon Trl.).

This StoryWalk has been translated into Simplified Chinese with help from the Carmel-Xiangyang Sister City Committee and the editors of Indy Asian American Times.
