Celebrate Photography Month with the CCPL Digital Media Lab's photography contest—Seize the Streets of Carmel!

Grab your camera or phone and join us in participating in street photography. Street photography is a genre of photography that records everyday life in public places, isolating and capturing moments which might otherwise go unnoticed. Candidly photograph life and human nature while showing your surroundings and how we as photographers relate to it. Then, send us your best one!

Submit your photo by July 31, 2022, for a chance to have your photography hung in the gallery space at the new Digital Media Lab in the renovated Main Library.  Winners also receive a gift card from our sponsor, Roberts Camera.

Contest notes and guidelines:

  • Open to Carmel Clay Public Library cardholders.
  • Youth (under 18) and Adult (18+) divisions. Youth division requires parental approval on entry form.
  • Winner receives an opportunity for a showcase of their photography at the library's Digital Media Lab.
  • Only one entry per person, please.

For judging purposes, please submit a file large enough to be printed at 11x14 (3300 pixels x 4,200 pixels or larger).

You retain all rights to your image, but by submitting your entry give us the right to print up to one (1) copy for judging and display. We also reserve
the right to post your image on our social media, with appropriate credit to you, for contest promotion.
