Authors Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray join us for a virtual author conversation via Facebook Live.
The new historical novel The Personal Librarian tells the remarkable story of J. P. Morgan’s personal librarian Belle da Costa Greene, the Black American woman who was forced to hide her true identity and pass as white to leave a lasting legacy that enriched our nation. Authors Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray join us to discuss their writing journey in telling the story of this incredible woman.
Award-winning author Victoria Christopher Murray had a successful career in corporate America before following her passion to become a novelist and now has more than 30 novels to her credit. Marie Benedict, whose novels include The Only Woman in the Room and The Mystery of Mrs. Christie, has made it her literary mission is to uncover the stories of the most important, complex, and fascinating women of history, sharing the breadth of their contributions as well as the insights they bring to modern-day issues.
