See how to grow delicious potatoes in containers at this hands-on event for adults at Plots to Plates Organic Gardens on the campus of Carmel Middle School. Registration is required.
Join us at the Plots to Plates community garden (located behind Carmel Middle School) as Master Gardener Shelli Broadbent teaches us how to plant potatoes in containers. Following her talk, there will be a hands-on demonstration, and you will plant your own potato container to take home and grow.
Registration required. Supplies will be provided to registrants at the event. Limit one potato container kit per household.
Plots to Plates Organic Gardens was created by the CCS Green Team in collaboration with Carmel Clay Schools and is located just west of the Carmel Middle School tennis courts (300 S Guilford Rd). You need to cross a grassy field to get to the demonstration stage. No restroom will be available on the grounds.
Do not attend this event if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any signs of illness. To ensure a safe environment, attendees will be asked to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding social distancing and are encouraged to wear a mask in accordance with the State of Indiana’s Mask Advisory.
