Transport yourself to Catalonia with Spanish tapas and sangria in this 45-minute virtual cooking class. From his kitchen in Barcelona, Chef Josh will teach you how to make pamtomaquet con jamón (a toasted garlicky bread with tomato and ham) and white sangria.
If you will be participating with a family member or friend, please register each person individually. Participants will be responsible for acquiring ingredients to prepare the dishes. In order to cook along with Chef Josh, the following items are recommended:
Ingredients for pamtomaquet con jamón: 1/2 loaf country style white bread, 2 ripe tomatoes, 1 clove garlic, 1/4 lb thinly sliced Spanish serrano ham (or an alternative such as prosciutto di Parma or Black Forest ham), extra virgin olive oil, salt
Ingredients for white wine sangria: 1 bottle white wine, liquor of your choice (rum, brandy, or vodka), 1 small bottle lemon soda or club soda, 1 apple, 2 oranges, 1 lemon, 1 stick cinnamon, 1 peach, 1 kiwi, sugar
Utensils: box grater, toaster or pan to toast bread, cutting board, knife, spoon, large pitcher, wine glass
