Open to all teens in grades 6–12

What is a zine?

Zines are self-published works of written and visual art that are created by hand or digitally and distributed to an audience. They have their literary roots in fanzines and magazines and are typically produced in small batches.

What is the Eco Zine?

This spring and summer the library will be accepting submissions for its Eco Zine. The Eco Zine is an issue of the CCPL Teen Zine with a focus on environmentalism, climate change, and nature. We encourage submissions that celebrate the beauty of nature and wildlife and written or visual works that inspire people to reduce their ecological footprint.

The library will be accepting submissions from April 1 through June 30, 2021. Submissions will be complied into a digital zine. A complete description of the project and guidelines for submitting can be found here.
